All,

I apologize in advance if this is a repeated topic. I have a COLT GMT. This morning (where I am located), Daylight Saving Time took effect. As many of you know, in order to adjust the GMT hand to the current time, you must pull the crown to position three (3). My crown is currently in position 2 (hour and minute hand adjustment with second hand stopped, as it should be). I'm pulling and pulling on the crown (just shy of pulling hard enough to the point that I feel like I'm going to rip it out) and it won't move into position 3.

Any suggestions?

Try turning the crown slightly while pulling (not violently) in case the gears aren't lining up properly, if not then it will need Breitling attention.

If I remember right, there is no crown position past the one where the sec. hand is stopped, so don't force it.

The GMT hand adjusts along with the hour and minute hand in this position. If you want to adjust the GMT hand separately, I think it's done in the position where you adjust date. Just turn crown in opposite direction of the direction to adjust date. I think this was how it worked but give it a try, I may be wrong.

My colt GMT has 3 positions.
# 1 is all the way in
#2 is a first stop where the GMT hand or the date changes depending on the direction you rotate it. The second hand does not stop.
#3 is all the way out. the second hand stops and the hour/minute hands adjust.

Didn't even read the details beyond 'position 2'

OP, the reason that you can't pull it further is that it is already in position 3!!!
