Hi, I have a Breitling Windrider Chronomat. I was just wondering what is wrong with my watch, if anything. I go to start the sweeping hand with the button on the side of my watch but it doesn't start, if I gently shake the watch it will start. does this mean that the start level is broken?
Regards,
Jeff

It sounds as though it simply needs servicing. If the chronograph is not starting then there is likely a lack of lubrication and / or dirt in the chrono seconds wheel or in the way that the chronograph mechanism engages with the running train. When was the watch last serviced?

It was serviced about 6 months ago, everything runs and it keeps perfect time but the chronograph just wont start with the button.

If it was serviced 6 months ago then it is still under the service warranty so definitely get Breitling to check it out.
