Evening All,

Firstly, top notch froum, I lurked here for months before taking the plunge and treating myself to a B1 last december, loads of info on here so hoping I can find a bit more... Did a search for my problem but got a lot of triv threads that lacked any relevance so apologies for this long winded effort.

EDIT: have just found instructions on how to remedy, apparently instruction books are a good place to start!!

Oliver

Hi and :welcome:

Easy fix - the B-1 is prone to going out of sync if it gets a knock.

Make sure the display is in the neutral position - showing no digital readout.

Pull the crown out and you can adjust the hour, minute & second hands - in turn - to match the display. The lower pusher will allow you to move from hours to minutes and then to seconds in that order.

To get the second hand right you'll need to go all the way round clockwise.

When finished push the crown back in and the seconds hand will catch up with where it should be. Viola.

Any probs just ask - that should do it.

:D

I had the same problem on my B-1.
Also found the solution in the Owners manual.

Ah Oliver

Thought you must have been without the destructions!

So - all sorted then?

Complicated but easy when you know how.

All is sorted cheers, never read the first page of the instructions "HOW TO SYNC!" but rest assured they have been perused now. working grandly thanks.

Another unrelated Q, should I have gotten a slide rule instruction book with the A78362 series watch? a few on ebay with slide rule mock ups and instruction books, but they seem to be a little older... hmmm....

They are indeed. But something in our manly genes shouts "never look in the manual! I'm a man and I should figure this out!"

Oh, how many times haven't I had to defeat myself back to the manual...
