Hello!

Stumbled across this site and am hoping someone might have some info... :)

I was lucky enough to work on British Airways' Concorde as cabin crew and have many fond memories from that time! Most of all, I relish my Breitling Aerospace which we were given an opportunity to buy directly from Breitling-London.

It has a Concorde in the place of nr3 and it says M2 in the place of nr.6.

I bought mine in March of 2003 and was told that it was a limited edition. Am terribly curious to hear if anyone else has stumbled across one of these at any time..?

It has the titanium and gold wrist strap and it is a gent's size.

(Apologies if names and details have not been described in the correct manner... )

Kind regards

There are quite a few Concorde limited editions using different base watches. The Chrono-matic and Cockpit Lady spring to mind as well as the Aerospace. They were all commissioned by Andrew Michaels who are sponsors of the site so they can probably tell you anything that you wnat to know - link at the top of the page.

Hi chaps!

Thanks for the welcome!!

Tried to attach some pics but they were rejected as they were too big.... Not sure how to rectify this? :? Any tips?

Thanks!
:)

There's a limit of about 250k for attachments but you can upload your pics to Photobucket or similar and link to them using the [Img] tag.

Have a look here http://www.breitlingsource.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=453

That is one sweet watch! Never seen a pic of this piece before so many thanks for posting. Needs adding to our LE list.

I suspect the request for the case back pic was to see how many were made. I think I recall seeing somewhere this was a limited edition of 1000. Can you confirm this from a number on the back saying xxx/1000 or whatever.

I had the pleasure of flying on an AF whizzer once on a Bay of Biscay Mach 2 dash. The acceleration on take off is something I'll always remember. Closest I'll ever get to being in a jet fighter! :D

Lucky man Sharkie, you don't often get chances like this.

My ultimate dream was an F-14 carrier take-off though.

Yes for the the 1st request and you were very lucky to fly such a plane Sharky, perhaps I will do that this summer in a fighter jet, a L39 Albatros, like the Breiling Jet Team based in, Dijon, France.
Their blog, all is in French, sorry but some of you will recognize people, films....

Their official site is in English and in French of course

:D although it would be an F-4 of course for me!

If I'd have won the lottery, the first thing I'd have done is gone to Classic Jets in Cape Town, SA for a Mach 2, vertical climb to 60,000' ride in an EE Lightning. Sadly, they've closed operations.
