I bought a nice used Cosmonaute. It is the older one with the manual wind. The manual says wind it 30 times per day. At 30, it will not keep running for 24 hours. I took it to a local shop and the jeweler said to wind it till it is tight. I have done that for a week now and it is keeping perfect time, however, I am worried I am over winding it. Any advice?

Thank you Watchmakeress... I was thinking back to when I was a kid with a Timex and you never wound it till it was tight, best I recall. Anyway, thank you very much. When I feel it getting to the stopping point, so do I.
