Hello Everybody

I am looking forward to buy a new watch! My favorit is the Navitimer World. I have a friend who had a lot of Problems with it! I am looking now for other (or similar) statments to be sure if it is what I would like to have.

I would like to wear it daily also for work (Pilot). If I pay $5500 for a watch it needs to work without troubles for several years!

Looking forward for your feedbacks.

Toby

Lots of owners here with no problems, I'm sure that they'll share their stories. The only real limitation that you have with teh Navitimer range is the water resistance. Only rated at 30M so not suitable to wear in the shower or swimming, but if that's not an issue then not a problem. I'm guessing that as a pilot you try to avoid water

I work in an office, but I wear either my Navi World, or one of my other Navitimers on a daily basis. I thoroughly enjoy them and have never had an issue before.

I've flown in everything from a Skyhawk 172 to an Piaggio P180 in my Navi World and never a problem!

I wear my Navi World a lot and it's a perfectly fine daily wearer. I don't wear any watch when I'm down the gym or swimming, so the WR is not a problem. The Navi World is a fine watch.

Hi Toby, welcome aboard.

Yes no problems, you are not going to go swimming with it, I would go for the Navi bracelet, rather than the leather strap as I think it looks right with the watch. Any marks in the bracelet from general use are soon polished out with a cape cod cloth and it looks like new again.

Your next problem is what colour are you going for!

There are some photos posted on this page to help you decide, my Navis on the second page.

And while new is good, I would also think about the second hand market, and with the money you save over new, you can think about your next Breitling.

Ian.

i wear my navi world every day. Work or play. No major problem at all as long as u stay away from the water.Because I wear it with a leather strap and with the hot weather in Singapore, the leather strap tend to smell after sometimes. Changing of straps may be necessary.
