Hi
I'm looking at buying a Breitling Old Navitimer A13322, but it comes on a strap and I'm a bracelet man.
Can anybody tell me the strap model number for this piece. I know it'll be expensive!
I have not seen any Navitimer bracelets with square (not curved) end links as on Breitling Source. http://www.breitlingsource.com/images/w ... mer_02.jpg.
Would a bracelet like this still be available? Did the bracelet change during the production lifetime of the watch (1993-2002, watch was purchased in 2004)? Will a Navitimer bracelet with curved end links fit the case?

Cheers in advance!

The bracelet ref# for Old Navi is 423A and it's not interchangeable with Navi's which is 431A.

They have different end links and are not interchangable, otherwise they would have the same ref# (if they are same style).

What?
Alinfrance is stating exactly the same thing that Bnewbie said. Alinfrance's bracelet is a TT with a ref of #423d. As Bnewbie and Alinfrance have both said, the only bracelet that fits the old Navi in SS is a #423a

:yeahthat

I think that you are confused somewhere RegWms - bnewbie is saying that 431 won't fit, and as has been the case on many, many previous occasions he is correct.

The only difference between 423a and 423d is the material, they are the same strap size / endlink shape.

The question was not whether the model#431 would fit. The question was whether there was a bracelet out there that would interchangably fit the old navitimer II?
There are two (2) bracelet models that will fit the old navitimer II. The bracelet model #423a will fit the old navitimer II. The bracelet #441a best fits the old navitimer II.
Thanks.

Thanks.

I think there is some misunderstanding here.

The question by the OP was if a regular (curved end piece) Navi bracelet could be used on the Old Navi. Bnewbie responded with the correct answer that it could not and provided the correct ref # for the Old Navi bracelet. There was then a question posed by you.

Bnewbie gave the answer of no. Which is correct. A regular Navi curved end link bracelet will not work in this case - they are not interchangable as you asked.

The 441a that you suggest is used on the Datora and has a 22mm interhorn width which would be appropriate for the Old Navi. It is a straight end link bracelet and may work- I am not sure, but I personally, and without dimensional references, don't see why it wouldn't unless the end link is too wide (north to south) and would possibly make contact with the case or bezel.

(Having said that, the pic that Alinfrance posted looks like the end link from a 441 to me. )

However, my recommendation to the OP would be to wait for confirmation from Bnewbie before spending any cash.

Was on vacation for a few days so couldn't response earlier, but Roff and br549 did that instead.
441A is a new style Datora bracelet and it might fit (clearly not a best fit).

@RegWms, if you have something to tell me, please don't hesitate.
