The question was not whether the model#431 would fit. The question was whether there was a bracelet out there that would interchangably fit the old navitimer II?
There are two (2) bracelet models that will fit the old navitimer II. The bracelet model #423a will fit the old navitimer II. The bracelet #441a best fits the old navitimer II.
Thanks.
Dunno about the 431A cuz I havn't had one in hand. It is indeed the 22-20mm 7 segment per link bracelet specified for the caliber 23 "tricompax" Navitimer introduced for the 2003 model year. The case interhorn geometry may be the same as the Old Nav and Old Nav II which would mean that the 423A (22-18mm) 7 segment bracelet would fit the current Navi but I am not certain. If true, that would of course mean that the 431A should fit the Old Nav's as well. I am certain that the original 5 segment per link "Old Nav/Cosmo (22-18mm) bracelet with flush fitting (curved) end pieces will fit on both the Old Nav (A13019) and Old Nav II (A13022 and A13322) and that the 423A with "straight" end links fit both Old Nav and Old Nav II also. Interestingly, the 22-18mm 423A is still the bracelet specified for the caliber 22 Flyback Cossie today and yet the Sales Handbooks for 2004-2005 and 2006-2007 show it to be 22-20MM!! I have also had my 5 segment Old Nav/Cosmo bracelet on my Flyback Cossie to validate case geometry compatibility. Sorry if all that sounds confusing. It is.  :D
Best,
Ron

BTW, I may be selling my 423A bracelet by itself or with my white face flyback Cossie in the near future. PM me if interested. :)

on OEM black croco...

older pic (old camera) when I first bought the Cossie. Only wore the 423A on it a few times cuz I prefer straps on Cossies...

Even though I'm a stickler for OEM (as you probably know by now! ), that bund strap really looks great on your Cosmo, Ron! The black stitching along with the leather really sets off the black subdials. Very nice indeed.

Hi, D8. TY. Yep, like you, I'm a stickler for OEM straps also but this is one I tried (in brown) on my Black dial display back Cossie and on my B-1. The added height to the case seems to give the piece an even more brutish "presence" on the wrist, a look I really like. 8)
Best,
Ron

Question regarding bracelets 423A and 431A, are the end links from 431A bracelet compatible with 423A bracelet and vice versa?

Yes

Is there any other difference (in addition to end links) between 423A and 431A?

Well............

I don't know whether that is 100% true. 423A was originally 22/18. Breitling started describing it as 22/20 later on but don't know whether they actually changed it. 431A has always been 22/20.

Correct, but I'm not sure it implies on bracelets (just straps I think).
Might be wrong thou.

Interesting that Breitling specifies two width numbers (wide and narrow side) for straps but only one width number for bracelets.

The 431A of my friend it's 22/18mm ...... exactly like the 423A !!
I found also a (rare !!) 440A in Germany ..... and same size 22/18mm, but with raised logo !!
I'm not sure 100% of "new" 442A (431A with raised logo!!), but, to see in picture, it's ever 22/18mm ..... :?:

All 22mm Navitimer bracelets tapper down to 18mm.
At leas based on my experience. I have just measured the 400, 423, 442 and 447, all 18mm at clasp end.
The clasp itself is 20mm so I guess Breitling decided at some stage to quote the size as 22/20 instead of 22/18.
There is no difference in the bracelet itself other than the end links and clasp designs.
Here is a 442 with calipers on the last link, 18mm.
Also the 447, 447 and 423 side by side.
