Further to the recent helpful thread on the 810-815 dials, Venus vs Valjoux, longplaying. I have seen this Toptime an 814. Dont think any mention of Toptime on the dial or case-back, so that is quite remarkable. I know it is known to have a Venus movement, however this one has a Valjoux. Any thoughts? Another example of the Venus Valjoux transition at Breitling?
I know in Dracha’s great article about the 765 family there is mention of the 7656 with Venus and Valjoux.

late examples are based on the R7736 - remember that Venus 178 production ended when Venus closed down in 1966, Valjoux only took over the V188 production and renamed it.

none of the 814 I remember have the Tootime branding on the dial.

Ok thanks, it is great to have confirmation the 814 was made with the Valjoux. I looked online but could only find examples with the Venus.
In regard to dials with Toptime, it would be good to know which Toptime models are not branded Toptime on the dial and or on the case back. Could help further with easier quicker identification, or is the 814 the only one, exception to the rule?

It's covered correctly in the springbar article in the "dials" section.
