Dear All

Looking for some confirmation on the originality of this 769.
Look ok?

Thank you.

This is just a feeling and no serious knowledge but I don’t like that there is rust between the case back and the case area but not a single micro scratch on case back. I thought if you sweat or wash the hands, the rust builds up there?

Too new to be original but I might be wrong.

Thanks for replying.

I'm not sure about your comment.
I have owned watches in the past where rust or pitting has occurred between the case and case back as water gets trapped there and can't dry out. The case back edge clearly shows corrosion too.

That is exactly what I meant. If water gets trapped and can’t dry, means the watch was used but the case back is so mint with not even a micro scratch on it.

Could it be the case back is new old stock and the case is older with a little rust?

Otherwise the watch looks really mint.

Seriously. There has been a shortage of really nice pieces up for open auction on ebay lately. Glad to see the market is there when they come up.
