2 more top time 810s sold at Watches of Knightsbridge for about £5000/$6700 each with premium. Third auction in a row with these prices, and now routinely outselling Venus based Navitimers.

that (very late!) dial type is only marked Swiss on all the examples I've seen, both on Chrono-Matic and Datora

Interesting, i spent a couple of hours at the viewing day, yesterday, did some google searches and just could not find anything about it. Wanted to buy it but was not brave enough. I hope it went to a good home.

I just picked this for somewhat less than WOK prices but it obviously needs some work. Can anyone recommend a suitable UK-based watchmaker?
I've used Andy Leftley for military watches; not sure if he does civilian models.

Ask Andy if he has experience with the Venus 178 movement. If so, he might be ok, depending on the state of it. Your issue will be finding a new pusher - won't be able to match the old and unless you already have one, replace both so they match, paying attention to trying for a short/fat pusher cap. Hands look trashed - I can maybe help with that.

Hi

I've sent a couple of 810 to Sean at https://watchrepair.expert/
He treated mine very well and is to be thoroughly trusted. You can view his work on his site.

Congrats, i am glad somebody from the Vintage Breitling forum bought it and that it will be brought back to full glory. Can you do a before and after pic when the watch is finished please.
