Would you ever consider getting a dial restored?

I was looking at this web site. It seems to me that on some of the before/after dials the lettering has changed/moved!!

I would think not but can someone clean up a dial a little while keeping it's original? I'm tempted to leave as is.

leave as is if you do not have a true expert (and these are rare!) do the cleaning.
please stay away from "dial restoration" guys, they are refinishers; a redial will greatly diminish the charm (and value) of your watch

Thank you Fred.

I'm hoping that once I send the watch to be serviced I will not have to come back on this forum begging for parts!
