I would like to get some advice from members here. I am really interested in the Sprint 2016 as it's a funky 70's watch.

Now the question is should I get a nice NOS in the $1800 range or just pick up something cheap off of eBay in the $600-800 range as this watch isn't a collector's type of watch.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Kevin

Evidently some sellers think these are collector type watches: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BREITLING-SPRINT-Ref-7733-Watch-Used-1970-Vintage-Antique-Rare-/172733490380?hash=item2837b7e4cc:g:lSkAAOSwDKtY2bf8 There were a lot of these floating around 10 years ago with nos pieces selling for around $450. The composite cases turn a lot of people off them but I think they're still collectible especially if you get all the dial colors. Cosmetics is always the main thing to consider as the mechanics aren't problematic and easily repairable. If a daily wearer quality watch will work for you then buy it otherwise buy the best example you can afford.

I am obviously selling mine wayyy too cheap then !

but I always tell people , get the best possible piece you can find/afford , daily wearers are great but they tend to disappoint , specially with the raisin cases , if its full of scratches and pieces missing you cant 'fix' it and its a ratty looking piece
