Hello
I haven't seen enough of the Breitling 791 examples to know if anything isn't original (hands, dial..though I note no 'Duograph', though I am not sure that indicates a replaced dial on the 791(, so wondering if someone here might be able to assist. :?

This from an upcoming auction:

In addition, would anyone know the differences between this reference and the ref 766?

Thanks all!

I know nothing about them, but that it a very nice looking watch so I sincerely hope that it is all original. Best of luck at auction.

case production date is 1950, dial is 63 or later, undocumented piece w/ missing Duograph logo.
well......

need to check records, but looks very similar to the piece Christies withdrew in 2015 iirc.

@WatchFred Is there a website or book you can recommend that provides case production dates, and what the appropriate case style should be? Same for dial design?

Were all Duographs produced with the Duograph logo/text on the dial?
