Hey I hope all is well. I had a question for you guys. I just bought this navi 806. It had a dial and hand change in the 60s I have the original dial but not sure it I can be paired. I'm thinking of ordering this chrono hand and slide rule. Does anyone know,

1. How hard will it be to have a watchmaker do the install?
2. Does this hand and sliderule match this reference?

I believe the original dial is early 60s and the current dial is late 60s. I haven't seen this chrono hand on another 806 nor the red sliderule.

Thanks!

Here's the original dial.

It's a personal preference but I think that original dial is in pretty poor shape, and the sliderule is a poor quality reprint. I wouldn't change them.

Thanks for the quick reply. Ill keep the dial thats on the watch now, do you mean the sliderule one the watch is bad or the one from the ebay photo that claims to be NOS.

If you keep the panda dial you would need the sweephand + a no index sliderule but I think that Billshaine's sliderule is a reprint .
With the all black dial ,same sliderule but the H +M hands + sweephand would be different .

Thanks again, so the hand I posted is OK to buy but you don't think the slide rule is. Do you know where I can find one?

The one in the eBay photo is poor.

Just asked he said it is in fact a reprint.

Found this one here as well but doesn't look correct.

A bit better but still not very close to an original. Original ones are ultra rare.

Guess I'll start with the chrono hand first. I'll look as I go. Got a good price on it so I can't complain.
