Someone knows the meaning of the Brevet engraving on the 1806 caseback?
I tried to google it, but i cant find anything.

interesting, learned something again.

this is the same patent that we see on the "normal" big case watches and that Breitling had claimed was their own patent and I've never questioned this.

as Dom asked me about that Patent 486728 I researched a bit and it turns out that the "DDE + BR 11525/67" was the application number in 1967, when the patent was granted in 1970, it received the Brevet registration number 486728.

and ..... not granted to or applied by Breitling, but by EPSA Piquerez, published on 28.02.1970
