Hi.I'm new here.I apologize for my English.I would like to know further news about the chronograph.I believe that case and movement(Valjoux69) are original. Instead not original the old reprinted dial and the hands relumed. Thanks.

Probably another example of adding too much information as I bet the dial was plain (no Breitling) originally. Hard for the uneducated to sell an old watch as a Breitling unless it says Breitling on it somewhere.

As we know I do not claim to be knowledgeable but I like the script on that watch.

I think once you had it in your hands and looked at that dial through a loupe you would see it's been redone. Of course by that time you'd own it and it would be too late.

In the catalog is this indication. In my opinion the cracked dial can be partially retouched(counters) or totally redone. The case and serial are Breitling for me.IMHO

"Staybrite" was the normal indication on the steel casebacks before 1940.Pics of two Montbrillant(one the first,363.xxx,with Valjoux 69)
and Breitling
