I'm looking to buy a vintage watch for my significant other. Looking at the Breitling CHRONOMAT 1806 48mm BIG CASE VINTAGE 1967 for approx 2500€

Thoughts? Or alternatives? Looking for 1974

Welcome to the forum.

A picture of the subject watch might help members here advise you.

On the other hand, you could try a slightly smaller, and later, version. A Chrono-Matic A41360 in 44mm. 48mm can be a bit big for some. Do you know that it will suit your other halfs wrist size, or does it have to be the 1806?

if it is a "Chronomat" & a ref. 1806 it's incorrect; 1806 is a Navitimer, 1808 the Chronomat Chrono-Matic
