you'll have to upload the pictures to an image host like photobucket for that to work.

The watch dates to 1959 according to the serial number. The Breitling bible lists the 62/26 as a Unidate, round case, central second hand, date, and automatic. Looks like that's what you have. Attached the catalog pic. I've got an automatic Breitling due in soon with both date and day. I'll post a pic when it arrives.

Regards.

Paul

Hello Paul,

WOW - where did you get the ad for that piece? You mentioned a Breitling Bible - what is this book and does it have ads like this?

Fantastic! Great graphics! Thanks very much!! Where can I get this book, Paul? Also, do you know where I can obtain vintage Breitling advertising such as posters, etc.?

Thanks again!
Joe

The book is just Benno Richter's book on Bretiling's that's commonly available on ebay or through Amazon. I don't buy any vintage watches that aren't close to what's represented in the book. It's just too chancy with all the put together stuff available. As for Breitling advertising, there isn't much vintage out there that I've seen. I did just acquire another catalog of vintage Breitling watches and I'll probably send that along Nelson when I get it scanned.

Thanks for the tip, Paul. I'll buy Benno's book soon. Does the vintage catalog you have contain more of those great graphics/ads? And if so, will you consider selling it? Please post some samples of the graphics when you can.
