Hello All
Looking for ideas for a new strap for my Navitimer 806, silver dial version.
It's got an old Breitling calf with contrasting stitching. I think these are a bit heavy for the watch.
Would love to hear your thoughts or see your photos of the favourites!

Also, can anyone shed any light on the buckles used on the 806's?
Un branded / branded?
I notice bill shaine sells twin jet buckles. Are these authentic to AOPA and Twin jet models?
Thanks

No, originals were unbranded.

Yes! Quite partial to a black Louisiana alligator on my El Primero. Might have to try one on the Navi.
I notice the old ads and pictures show lizard which looks good too.

Lovely watch in great condition. The strap appears unfinished at the edges? Is the strap padded or does it have a lining?

(Sorry couldn't get the quote to work on my iPhone)

My preferred one is the Breitling mesh - supposed to be optional but more probably more for SO's or AVI's than for Navi's . René had published a post about it .
On my AOPA I used a vintage Zenith strap , 22 x 14 .
In the yellow box a NOS Breitling lizard strap, period correct for 70's models .
Twin plane buckles are attractive but their origin is not clear . Did they born in the 90's from further creative hands or were they genuine LG Breitling accessories ? . I just noted that many of them popped out from Singapore and Malaysia , not only from Bill's drawers ... In one hand they are many fake foundries in this zone, but in the other hand , Singapore was a hot place for buying swiss watches free of tax , weel known and appreciated by int'l pilots for spending their rest time staying at Raffle's hotel, shopping and enjoying life . The Sing' Breitling Service was official and reputed ... Who remembers? Who knows? Who can be sure ? From the 6 or 7 that I have , I did not find any difference ... and they are stamped " Acier Inox - Déposé - Swiss"
If the model has been " déposé", it would be a registration somewhere ?
