Hi Guys,

I am new to the forum, recently my father gave be his Navi-timer which he hardly wore. I have been doing some research on the particular model and have found that its a first generation Venus movmt 806??? Just wondering what people think and if anyone can shed more light on the model and what dollar value it would be worth?

I have attached some photos for your thoughts.posting.php?mode=post&f=11#

Any help wold be much appreciated.

Thanks mike

nice. do you have a pic of the inside caseback and movement ?
would need that to say anything relevant regarding value.
if you find the time, it would be good to count the bezel beads, seem small/early.

Congrats, nice watch to get as a hand down. I would take it to a watchmaker to take the caseback off and post a picture of the movement and inner caseback here to get more info.

WOG would indicate late 1957 and after. counting bezels from iphone or ipad screen pics is quite impossible, pls print a pic and count your beads ?

movement pic and serial number would be neccessary to say anything reliable.

if you want to read more about that watch, a search in the vintage directory will get you quite a lot of interesting reads, here is a must-read about them:

Looks like a nice piece in original condition. As others have said a more accurate / detailed assessment will need the movement photo and inside of the caseback to date it, but you have a nice piece.
