Fred, not the Dragon.
785s were available in all 3 versions.

Here is an interesting one, case looks ok, hands look good, and the Venus 191 we spoke about, but is this a TYW on the bridge, would make that an Elgin ?

And yes, it is from Argentina, still an interesting watch, looking for that perfectly convincing Venus 191 Datora.

Serial number also dates to before Breitling moved to Geneva which makes the dial telepathic!

Hi, a query, was there a variant of the 785 called the 803 that looked similar but that had a waterproof oyster case? Saw it in the ad that Michael Marz has posted and is refering to in this thread. Is that ad real?

A Datora 785 from Breitling's vintage collection for the US market, just adding it here for reference, notice the different and unique day hand on this 1947 version. Were WOG codes around in 1947?

day hand is definitely a replacement on this one, WOG codes were used in 47; not sure the subdials on this one have not been refinished.

just noticed it, the lowermost subdial looks a different style, some have a double track on that subdial, this one doesn't!

I recently learned that the 'unadjusted' and also the import codes were used to keep USA import tariff's down from the mid '40ies onwards so the WOG doesnt surprise me either but you rarely see them on watches from the 1940ies , at least , I almost never see them :)

Okyz, also anyone have a original 785 operating instruction manual softcopy by any chance?

No, San, never saw one myself, frankly; not even sure they existed ? anybody ?
But rather straightforward to use and set: month (at 10) and date (8), weekday is set by turning the crown until u reach it.

do not be disappointed: month has to be set manually, it does not advance automatically.
