bautiful and rare piece from 1946, though the $86,000 seem a bit optimistic ...
worth documenting, will be interesting to see at what price this will sell.

The link goes to a Breitling Bentley Fred. Nice watch, any idea how much they normally go for?

sorry for the wrong link to a Bentley fake, corrected now.

Have seen asking prices around 20 to 30,000, but looking for closed deals or auctions, would be surprised if it reaches more than 10% of the asking price but would be happy to have others chime in.

Anyone here's got a 785? Would like to see a wristshot!

Nice condition, nice piece. I worry that there is only one, not very good, movement shot, but then I tend to worry about things like that. If it sells for more than $10,000 then someone overpaid.

yep, but very nice. Craig just received a close family member, an 18k Datora 784, will post a wrist shot when it arrives in Vienna. thanks Paul for the eval help, looks quite ok in the metal according to Craig. Funny thing is that another forum member bought a SS 784 and both arrived at Craig's on the same day, Datora overload.

just received a pic from The Dalles Spa, thought I'd share.
one of those purchases you should normally avoid, no movement pic, blurry dial pics, a seller with a sales history of glue&paint, but a good gut feeling. Not so bad after 67 years. Nice.
