We watched an episode of The Avengers from the late '60s recently, a character was wearing a Breitling Navitimer type model with a black steel body and bezel...any idea what model this would have been ?

Sorry, I watched it again...I think its the scene lighting that makes it look black...it looks pretty normal second time round.

I've never heard of any black steel ones - and the Navitimer is such a well known watch pretty much all of the versions are documented somewhere
