Yep, passes all of the tests for me too. Not in the greatest condition, but I've seen a lot worse. Nice late 1st generation.

can you clear up the confusion I have regarding WOG movements, I was under the impression It was only stamped on the Wakmann watches?Cheers.

WOG and BOW are the manufacturer codes for Breitling. Many of the WOGs were sent to the US market for distribution by Wakmann, and technically it is the Wakmann code, but I've not seen any evidence that every WOG stamped piece was US distribution - it's a much more common stamp than BOW.

In the 1950ies (I think somewhere in 56, 57 or 58 but I dont know exactly) Wakmann signed an agreement with Breitling to be their sole importer for the USA . The US Government had very strict import rules at that time and "WOG" was signed on the movements of all watches that Wakmann imported, not just Breitling but also Gigandet and others

All watches imported by Breitling USA (pre the Wakmann agreement) were signed BOW

I believe the last year these codes were used was about 1967-1968
