Hello, this is my first posting and i say hello to all my Vintage Breitling friends :wink:

At the first i will show an really old Breitling Chrono

Beautiful piece - I didn't realise just how curved the crystal was on those watches, inevitable I guess to get the depth rating in those days.

I'll take a look in the guide and see if I can come up with a value indication.

There are 3 SuperOceans in the guide - an undated black and white face one listed at $400 - $450; a 1972 with two white subdials on black face for $450 - $500 and a similar 1971 for $800 - $900.

I'm inclined to agree. Although the prices in the guide have recently been updated I'm not sure that they reflect accurately the market in all instances.

The SuperOcean is a specialised piece and can be limited appeal because of the unique shape and unusual (for Breitling) look. That said the new SOH range is likely going to increase the appeal of the originals.

I assume that you are interested in value for academic reasons rather than because you are looking to sell?

Oh, i dont have the question about the worth posed, but the valuation it is very interesting for me !
The Watch is about 15 years in my hold, belief me i dont want to sell!!
Only i want demonstrate the watch!!
