Hi!
I've found a vintage watch I'm interested in buying. The seller calls it's a Breitling Geneve Vintage 7730 Valjoux Chrono dated to 1948. It's ref no on the back is 407377. What concerns me is that the back plate seems to have been exchanged. It has however a Breitling logo on it. Please have a look on the pictures and tell me what you think?

Do you think it's real or fake and what about the dating?
Also, what to you think about the value?

Thanks!

its a full fake or frankenwatch.

cannot be genuine, because 1. the movement is signed with the new style "B" Breitling, Breitling used this first time on end of 1951, but the serial number says about 1940. 2. Breitling didn used Valjoux 7730 in this time, only Venus 188

It looks to me exactly the same as a Wakmann one I used to have which was a venus 188 movement,I paid around $200 for it but it had a french marked maker on it, Its also similar to the Top Time I just bought with the same movemnet in it but that was marked Breitling, If it real anything up to $1k if its not less than $200.
