It's a 1955 2907-31 and it looks almost correct.

The only problem that I see is that the B on the dial should be gold. I'm working from memory and not sure if it should be painted or applied - I suspect applied and that it has simply fallen off.

I think the dials been repainted and probably why the 'B' looks a bit strange. The lettering is consistent with a repaint.

I think you're right Paul - focused on whether the wording was correct for 1955 and never even thought about a repaint. :oops:

I would be kinda wary of this one... :|

(Can't believe I've memorized all the auctions for the vintage Breitlings on ebay) :oops:

Plus, when was the last time you saw a reference number on the inside of the case back?

Hi guys. Thank you for all the information. I already bought the watch. After delivery I will contact a Breitling dealer to check the watch. I will keep you informed. And in worst case I can get my money back if it is a fake. I paid with Paypal.
