If you read the movement not as 112 but as 11-2 then the movement makes sense. 11-2 was the fast beat (3Hz) caliber 11 and the only visual difference between that and the 12 was the nickel plating finish vs. the gilded movement.

The calibre 11-2 exist, and its ok with no dash between 11 and 2, but i never saw one with gilded bridge.
But the watch is a complete mariage as Paul said. The Pult was first time created in 1971, but the calibre 11-2 was used only middle of 1969 not 1971 as Roff said, at the end of 1969 Breitling used only the calibre 12. And the date is rotated by 90 degrees.
