The seller is giving limited information on this one. Real or fake.

Well his dating is wrong, it's 1966 rather than 1967.

I am away from home so can't check references, but it looks OK to me. I would like a better photo of the caseback, especially showing a model number (810 maybe). The condition is also very good, I assume restored at some point,, I don't think that it's a redial.

Not sure what the aftermarket display back is all about either, and the strap is too small.

Price is too high in my opinion.

Generally speaking what could one expect in maintenance bills in the future for a watch such as this.

It's a fairly easily available movement so it won't be too bad. $200 or so for a service if there are no major issues - and service intervals of 3 - 5 years.

Says it all really:

"The Top Time’s place on The List has been earned by the very fact that it is not (yet, at least) a watch that is purely bought as a retro trend item or as an investment. This means that it is unlikely to be seen on the wrist of a poseur who is merely buying what is currently de rigeur, or by a collector who will handle it only with white cotton gloves. It is a classic watch, with timeless aesthetics, that denotes that the wearer has the knowledge and good taste not to let trends, or the Top Time’s comparatively low purchase price, dictate what they choose to wear on their wrist."

It's in some pretty fancy company on this list:
