I have recently bought a Breitling but have little knowledge of it. Can someone help me ID the model and age?

Looks like somebody made this one up. I am curious to know how a Venus 175 will work with one pusher. Maybe Craig could explain the difference in the movement over the normal two pusher Venus 175. Anyway, here's the closest I could find on the internet. It probably started life as something similar and was modified later on.

I can say for sure the dial is not legit.

The Ebay seller stated in his auction that the dial had been redone which isn't really a big surprise. I don't have a copy of the Richter book any longer but I do remember there were some single pusher pics in there but I think they were much earlier.

Yeah this is real late for a single pusher. I don't know enough about the movement to know if there was a single pusher version, would like the OP to confirm how the chrono operates.

I agree with Paul, this watch has problems.

the normal single pushers where produced in the 1930th, but for different Military Units, Breitling has produced it till 1970th

The rodania pictured above is a one button v.175 movement (if its the same as the canadian air force issue one that i also found on the net), I imagine the chrono operates exactly the same - push to start, stop and re-set. I agree, i think the dial is not original but would be interested to see what the original model (whatever it was) looked like.

I saw that too. The Canadian uses the Valjoux 236 movement in the same configuration.
