What do you think about this one? Is it authentic?

Authentic. Too much money but authentic. This one has been on ebay a couple of times. There also some Indy 500 versions with Marlboro as the sponsor. Generally they tend to go for less than the normal dialed variety unless someone has a connection to the sponsor. I think they were for participating in the event vs actually winning the Indy 500.

Definitely real. I have one and have physically seen another. I am not 100% certain but I believe these were for top sellers (either dealerships or salesmen). I also agree it is overpriced.

Well, I am once again exposing my ignorance, I see it has the opening bid!!! Maybe I should re-evaluate my collection.

Why it should be overpriced ?

For a usual Top Time you have to pay about 800,- $ , but but this version is a thousand times rarer . Its a real bargain for a big Breitling collection.

Just because it is rare doesn't automatically make it valuable.

May be not for you, but for real collectors yes.

If your definition of "real" collector is paying too much for watches and then overvaluing them, then you are correct, I am not a "real" collector.

No this is not my defination.

A real collector understand and can distinguish, what is real rare and collectible and what is cheap mass-produced, can be bought from any shop around the corner everywhere in the world.

Ooooooooo, sexy!!!
I like that alot!
I don't know anything about the price BUT I can something about the seller.
I had my 2111N from this seller and he was excellent!
Shipped it in a well packaged box, helped out with customs etc.

To be trusted I would say!

Wish I had a grand spare. :( :( :(
