The jeweller is a Rolex agent and he has offered to exchange both of the watches for a new stainless steel Oyster Perpetual Datejust Model 116200 which retails at £3380.00 for me and a matching stainless steel Oyster Perpetual Lady-Datejust Model 179160 which retails at £3210 for my wife making a total of £6590.00, does this sound equitable?.

No idea what your Rolex is worth, but in terms of the Breitling, it is easily a GBP2,000 watch, and likely GBP2,500. The 70s watches aren't as valuable as the classic 806s, but this one is effectively NOS which obviously pushes the price up. The Jordanian connection may not help the value simply because it is of limited appeal.
