hi guys,

what do you think of these two?

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Brietling-Divers ... 1|294%3A50

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Brietling-Naviti ... 1|294%3A50

he says they're both from '69. he says he can't open them, but has welcomed an inspection. a bit uncertain about one of the hands on the chronomatic, but the rest seems to look ok.

"Divers has 2002 on back
Chronomatic has 2110 1265082"

the chronomatic seems to mach 1969. any idea about the other numbers?

any thoughts on rough us$

thanks guys.
dave.

Well I wouldn't be buying without movement photos, there's no telling what's inside.

The Chrono-matic could well be a 2110, there were a heck of a lot of different dial layouts and looks using that reference number and this one is not inconsistent.

I don't like the driver's watch at all. If it is late 60s it shouldn't have the script Breitling, and a 2002 is a Top Time, which this isn't.

The 2110 might be OK, but not without knowing what's inside - the 2002 I would steer clear.

Ditto. Don't like the first one but the second looks ok.

I agree also... the first one I've never even seen that kind before...

As for the second one... I'm comparing it to mine and everything does look okay...

the red triangle is a bit faded on the bezel but I guess that's just happens over time...

It should be a ref. 2110 but like Roff and Paul said...it would be better with some movement pictures... and some better pictures of the caseback.

he's posted a photo of the movement for the diver. apart from the bad photo, it doesn't look right to me.

Don't see anything obviously wrong with the movement, though those bridges are easy to fake - still don't like the watch though.
