Hi.

I have a Breitling Navitimer 806. I need to know how to open the casing so I can see the movement. Anyone help?

Regards,

Ally.

The smart answer is to take it to your AD and ask them to do it for you!

The 806 had a snap in back so it can be opened with a pocket knife in the slot on the back of the case, BUT it shouldn't be. You should only use the proper tools for opening casebacks - different tools for snap in than for screw in, and while it can be tempting, you really shouldn't open the back unless you need to.

If you just want to take a picture of the movement or check that it is original I'm sure that your local Breitling AD would be happy to help you out.
