Don't like the hands, but other than that it looks pretty good. I'm slightly suspicious of the dial, it's in very good condition which always make you worry about refinishing, but I think that it's simply been restored. The Premier wordking looks a little small, but not enough for me to say that it's wrong.

The caseback dates it to 1945 which is consistent, and the lack of Breitling on the back is also correct.

The movement is a Venus 152 as it should be, and looks correct.

Overall, I think it's a nice, if not perfect example.

I agree with Roff, Dial has been redone. I am not a fan of the hands. They may be the right style, but they look redone also.

Don't even think that the hands are the right style.

I just pulled my 787 out of the project box and the hands look the same. I have the silver dial so the color is different, but the style is good.

But is your 787 this early?

I agree that the hands are consistent with the model, but I've never seen this style on anything as early as 1945. Either way it doesn't make them 'wrong' just based on shape as we all know that they were routinely replaced during servicing.

This is what I would expect on an early 787 - http://www.clubbreitlingisrael.co.il/si ... eaWord=787

Good point! serial on mine is 699xxx which would make it a bit later and who is to say the one I have has the original hands. After all it is in the project box for a reason.

Reminds me of Omega in some way. Like the classic look, good watch IMO. :lingsrock:
