Hi Guys/Gals,

The 806 I purchased does not come with any instructions and I dont want to do anything silly like overwind the watch or something like that.

Does anyone know of anywhere where I can get normal operating and care instructions? I have found the instructions detailing how to use the unit for calculations etc but not general operating.

Thanks people ...

Don't know of anything online, but in terms of winding it's easy.

The watch is manual wind so can be overwound - and that's something that you must avoid at all cost.

Wind the watch until you feel resistance - it will be fairly sudden, and then stop. After a few times you'll recognise when the mainspring is fully wound very easily.

In terms of other stuff, don't expect it to be water resistant so don't submerge it, wear it in the shower, etc, but anything else is just the same as any other watch.

Wear and enjoy.

What year is it?
