I think that Craig is sharing my doubts.

Pricing is very hard, even if you accept that a South American watch is essentially correct (still a big 'if' for me because of it being South American) the case has been replated and the crown is wrong.

There are simply better watches out there so trying to put a value on it is very hard. You need to determine what it is worth to you. If you are looking for a watch that you can later sell for profit, find another watch. If you are looking for one to keep, then pay what you are comfortable with.

The $29.95 was my personal feelings about any vintage watch from S. America. I just cannot trust what they sell there and their fakes have gotten better all the time. It is interesting now that they have taken on time only Breitling fakes instead of chonographs which are easier to spot and have a lot more references. Craig
