Breitling Steel Chronograph Breitling Genève, "Super Ocean," case No. 924620. Made in the 1960's. Fine, water-resistant to 20atm/600 ft, stainless steel diver’s wristwatch with round button chronograph and register. C. Three-body, polished and brushed, graduated bidirectional revolving black bezel for the decompression times, screweddown case back with logo, lapidated lugs. D. Black with luminous indexes, outer 1/5th seconds track, subsidiary guilloche dials for the seconds and the 30-minute register. Luminous arrow hour and baton minute hand. M. The AVI was a good deal compared to what they've been selling for recently!

The Superocean dial wasn't in top shape either.

Anyone have any thoughts about why it went for so much! Has the re-edition pushed the price up
dramatically?

Popularity has increased with the SOH / SOHC, this was just a case of bidders getting carried away.

AVI was a reasonably good deal, Premier was OK, maybe a bit of market saturation on the 1806s, would have expected more there.
