Is it just me or does the bridge look "incomplete"?

Pretty rare regardless... everything else looks okay though...

First time I have seen one of these complete. I have partial of the R7731 movement on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... RK:MESE:IT
so its nice to see what the rest of it looks like. I had several of these movements bought as a lot about 4 years ago.
My take is the bridge is correct and cut off for the minute counter wheel which is not needed. The other thing that is interesting is the chrono runner second hand drive wheel coupling clutch is completely different than the normal R7730.
Nice watch but the price - too high for me but I don't have a fix on the value of these. Thanks, Craig

Movement is correct, and I think that Craig's assumption is correct. You can see a hole in the plate presumably for the chrono minute arbor.

Price of these has gone up fairly well recently thanks to the SOH / SOHC, but this is way too high - take a grand off and it's still expensive.

I had one of these I actually got from a guy that ran a diving school in the Channel Islands a couple of years ago. It needed a complete redo and I sent it off to a watchmaker that kept it two years before it was completed (before I found Craig). It looked identical to this one when I got it back and I sold it for $850. I saw it again on ebay a few months later where it sold for $1150. This is the same movement used in the Breitling 'football' from around the same timeframe. It is an awesome watch though.
