The broadarrow on the dial is not right.

That would denote it was issued to the British military and this
never was.

Can't comment on the rest of it.

Fake. All the Breitling writing on both sides of the back cover was laser engraved. The dial is completely wrong. Most British Broadarrow markings are found one the back cover.

As has been said, a nasty fake.

Though Panerai would have been proud of that dial

thanks alot, looked like a sketchy panerai look-a-like. recently started looking into buying a vintage breitling. not much into the modern breitling look, but the classic ones are sexy. any suggestions on nice classics?

Really depends on what interests you and what you feel comfortable spending. Chrono's or regular watches? I like the vintage Chronomat's, Navitimers, and Premier's because they're vintage but still large enough to wear. Also the ref 810 is nice too as are some of the older chrono's like the ref 178. There's quite a nice variety of watches from the sixties that are still easy to get parts for and look good. Here are two of my favorites that are currently on ebay (not mine).

The ref 816 Navitimer.

The ref 808 Chronomat.
