Considering Breitling's aviation heritage, and and considerable number of cockpit shots I have seen, I figured I'd start a thread on what aircraft we all have flown. Any aircraft that you either were at the controls of, or served as a crew member on counts (EX: a military loadmaster can count the planes he/she served on)

i'll start, in chronological order

•Cessna 182 (single flight lesson)
•Diamond DA-20 (USAF Initial flight screening)
•T-6A Texan II (Combat Systems Officer[CSO]/navigator training)
•T-1A Jayhawk (CSO/Nav training)
•C-130H Hercules (C-130 Nav initial/mission qual training)
•HC-130P/N (HC-130 Nav mission qual, and 2 years operational flying)
•RV-4 (went up with a friend and got most of the stick time)
•HC-130J (currently at HC-130J CSO transition training)

Great pics!

I'm not a pilot although I always fancied it as a job - ended up fixing them instead.

I had a shot in a Sea King SAR helicopter once, on the way back to base from a trip away - flying straight and level was OK but takeoff and landing needs a bit of practice :-)

10 hours in Chipmunks 25+ years ago at AEF1 Manston. Very forgiving plane and in a different world may have been a first step to a PPL.

About the best I can say is I took a cat shot off the USS America aboard a C2 Greyhound. Zero to 100MPH+ in about 1.5 seconds. Flew on/off various aircraft carriers via CH-46 and CH-53 as well.

Some great pictures,

My list is a little less impressive:

Grob Tutor (UK Air Cadet AEF)
Grob Vigilant Motorglider (I instruct aircadets on these)
Squirrel Heli (Just the once)
Aero AT3 (Did most of my PPL on this)
Cessna 172 (Finished my PPL on this)
PA-28 (When my flying club closed this was the only option near me)
Tiger Moth (This was with a friend)
Cessna 150 Aerobat (Once we took the doors off)
Chipmunk (I was taking up with a flying circus and did some ballon popping etc)
Extra 300 (My first aerobatic lesson)
ASK 21 (Did a week in this with the air cadets)
Puchacz (Did my first glider solo in this)

I think thats about it.

Cessna 185 C-GEYY floats.
DHC-2 DeHavilland Beaver CF-JXP floats.

After seeing those fantastic photos above. I'm going to curl up like a hedgehog and return to my corner.

I've never flown on anything with floats... The T/O & Landing must be an awesome experience.

Any pics of the DeHavilland?

Cessna 150/152/172/175/177/182/210, Piper J-3/Super Cub/PA-28/PA-34, Beech Musketeer/Bonanza/T-34, NAA Navion/AT-6/T-28, Boeing PT-17/B-17G (Right seat, 30 min), Aeronca L-3, Zlin 26, MH.1521 Broussard, Alon Aircoupe, Christian Eagle, Steen Skybolt ....

All a very long time ago. Haven't flown a plane in years (other than riding in the back).

That moment when you realize that someone has flown almost as many different models of Cessna as you have flown total aircraft...

PS: massively jealous of the B-17!
