Hi all,

The Avro Vulcan did an impromptu flyby today after it's display 30 miles away.

Rubbish conditions, but lovely to see her nonetheless. 2 passes before she headed home.

Appearing from the murky skies

Good pics Davey. I saw her fly at Farnborough a couple of years back, but I still remember seeing her fly at HMS Daedalus when she was still operational, and I was knee-high to a grasshopper. Incredible thing to see.

She is to retire at the end of the year her frame having reached the flying hours but they could have send her to Air14. :(
