When do you prefer that auctions you are bidding on end. I have been selling a few items and think I have hurt my sales a couple of times by posting late at night therefor sales end after people are in bed. (im a nightowl)

It doesn't really matter too much to me, but I voted for evening time.

Haven't got a computer at home, just a blackberry, so I voted for during work.

I said around dinner time - although that's usually around 8pm for me as I have a long commute. I am in the Eastern timezone of North America so that equates to early evening across most of North America.

Work is a bit difficult for me because I might be tied up in meetings and miss it, although if I am at my desk it's probably the easiest. Weekends are a little tricky because of family commitments.

Having said that, "during work" for me also covers evenings and sometimes late evenings... :(

I said during the evening but really prefer during the day or late at night when no one else is gonna bid :)

I always try to end my auctions on a w/e afternoon or weekday evening - much better results that way.

It's surprising how many people start a 10 day auction on a w/e afternoon and just don't realise that it will then end on a Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon when people are at work.

Personally I can't get eBay at work as it's a barred site :(

I'm not on ebay but on the Swedish co-site. Voted evenings around dinner time, most folks are either staying late at work then or are at home. However, the items I've been selling are collectors stuff and then the time doesn't really matter. If it's seen, the bidders will watch it regardless of the time. :)

Sunday evening. Usually have a look what's happening Friday night so it gives me the weekend to research and decide whether to bid.

It used to be a general rule that you list on sunday and let the auctions end on sunday because people are in a buying mood and usuaslly free on sunday afternoons.

However, that trend is starting to change in my opinion.. it is starting to be better to list and have auctions end in the early evening.. and remember timezone differences, not just east to west coast but if you are selling to the UK its another 5-8hours ahead depending on where you are.

I personally don't care so much as long as its not really early int he morning, but I am west coast and alot of east coasters auctions end at 5-6am in the morning.

Yeah, the timezone differences can be a right pain. The amount of times I see things Stateside ending at 3am my time.
