That'll be a first for BMW! I've driven BMW's for years (onto my 8th at the moment), and I love them as cars but if ever we get snow, the Beemer stays well and truly in garage. Rear-wheel drive is absolutely bl**dy useless in the snow!

[Though the 535 above is AWD.]

I know. That's why I said it'll be a first for BMW to actually be drivable in the snow. :D

It's powered by a 6.2L Chevrolet LS3 V8 with a Harrop HTV1900 Supercharger, somewhere just shy of 600BHP.

That must be fun to drive!

Oh, it certainly is!

;)

Breitling bloke and Bone Doc both beautiful cars

Thanks Watch nut!

Of course, as Driver8 says, it will be a different thing entirely if it snows! I had intended to wait until the chance of winter weather was passed but the right deal came along so went for it. That said my 5 series got me from one end of the country to the other without incident the last few winters - even during the last bad one.

So far so good.

I would love a real toy to play with and there are some great cars featured in this thread but until I can find an excuse (and the cash) for a full time toy the 'Sixer' will keep me happy :D

Hey I recognize your car and your username from nsxprime (mine is chado on prime)! Good to see another member on here, my car is most recognized from the "NSX gone wild" clips on youtube. Haven't done any modifications in the past few years as I've been purely focused on developing my business.

Always liked your ride! :D
