It's powered by a 6.2L Chevrolet LS3 V8 with a Harrop HTV1900 Supercharger, somewhere just shy of 600BHP.

My old 520d was very close to 200k miles so I pushed the boat out last weekend and got an upgrade to a 630i Sport.

Lots of nice extras like head up display, memory seats etc so at least I'll be comfortable and have some toys to play with on my 340 mile occasional commute.

Nice one, I like that body style, plus all wheel drive for the crappy weather! Should be fun to drive in the snow though.

That'll be a first for BMW! I've driven BMW's for years (onto my 8th at the moment), and I love them as cars but if ever we get snow, the Beemer stays well and truly in garage. Rear-wheel drive is absolutely bl**dy useless in the snow!

I like the idea of BMW's x drive models. My F25 X3 copes with any weather but is still feels like a truck so I'm thinking about a 3 series x drive. My other half's F20 baby beemer is shod with a set of winter tyres and that copes remarkably well in snow. For years I drove Volvos which were also horrendous to drive in winter. My old Range Rover was the best winter vehicle I ever had................when it wasn't breaking down with some obscure electrical glitch.
