I have a chrono avenger dated 2003 in the warranty card. But I want to know when the case is produced, please see attached picture. According to the "date guide" on this site this should be a 2012 model but that's not possible.

Help is appreciated.

Well I think you are right, that case was produced in the 13th week of 2012. No idea what the B5 means but may refer to a model number. It's possible the the middle case on your watch was replaced, maybe due to stripped crown threads, a known problem with titanium cases.

But what doesn't make sense is that last production year was 2007.

Maybe spare parts only get stamped when in use?

Yeah, sounds like what zak57 said about case being replaced during service.
Like you said, maybe they stamp it when it goes into production, actually used.
Guessing the serial number on caseback matches papers and look to be correct?

Then your watch is all good if not totally original. Whilst the model production may have ceased Breitling May continue to produce new cases in limited numbers to supply the service centres.
