All eyes look to the sky during the Breitling Huntington Beach Airshow featuring spectacular stunts from fleets of planes and jets flying over the Pacific Ocean in the only beachfront airshow on the West Coast. Flying begins at noon each day with many of the aerobatic maneuvers happening over “show center” on Huntington City Beach.
During the inaugural show in 2016, onlookers witnessed the USAF Thunderbirds soar and roar overhead in an impressive hour-long demonstration featuring F-16 Fighting Falcons flying wingtip to wingtip. The Thunderbirds were joined by the flying aces of the Breitling Jet Team. Known as the world's largest professional civilian flight team, the renowned aerobatic aviators showcased the fast and powerful L-39 Albatross aircraft with precise and dramatic maneuvers.
2017 Airshow Details:
The 2nd annual show will feature the US Navy Blue Angels, along with the RCAF Snowbirds, in what is sure to be a spectacular event on September 29 - October 1, 2017. Those planning ahead even further ahead can set their calendars for the 3rd annual show on October 20-21, 2018, with returning headliners, the USAF Thunderbirds.
The Breitling Huntington Beach Airshow is free to the public with a large event footprint spanning Huntington City Beach at Beach Boulevard.
