I wasn't expecting to ever buy an Emergency, but this one came up locally (I live on an Island 8 miles wide...) so just had to have it!

It's been sat in its box for the last few years. It is in perfect condition on a Pro II, comes with all paper work, and original packaging. However, the battery was dead - although transmitter battery seems to work fine. I've just dropped it off for a service and have been told ETA is 2-3 months. (Manchester service centre) Argh.

Wow, what a find. 2-3 months to change a battery though! Tick, tick, tick...

Cheers! I was casually swigging my tea browsing the local advertising website, and saw it - had to take a look! Was a fair price too.

The 2-3 months is what apparently showed on the booking screen, so hoping it won't take long! Never had a quartz Breitling before, assume it's going for a 'normal' maintenance service, and not just a battery. It certainly wont need much polishing!

I imagine that's the worst case scenario. Probably be closer to 2 than 3. The coral dial Emergency has always been my grail, so hopefully I'll pick one up one day. Best cup of tea you ever had, that's for sure!
