I am also seriously looking at Rolex and Grand Seiko.

OP, you have your life priorities straight. My wishes for a happy retirement and many years of enjoyment of your new property.

WOW, Canada to the Caribbean. And I thought moving from central N.Y. to North Carolina was culture shock. Sorry to hear you are selling all you worldly goods but if it is you choice and not a requirement then more power to you. I hope you find your semi-retirement to be all that you hoped for. Congratulations but please keep coming around as you have been a very stabilizing presence here and would be missed.
Be Safe, Frank.

Plz keep on posting - with or without owning a few or at least one mechanical watch! A knowledge that can't be wasted.

Thank you Roff for all of your contributions to BS and the helpful answers to my PMs. :)

So, the last of your Breitlings will be at home on other wrists soon. What about the dozen or so Allen Edmonds, are they spoken for? Traded for flip-flops? :poke:

+1 on Allen Edmonds. I have about 12 pairs right now and absolutely love them.

Ha!

Considerably more than 12 pairs now. I'll stop be doing the occasional conference speaking engagement so have an excuse to keep them. And they do sell boat / deck shoes :-)

I really need to invest in some Allen Edmonds. Living in Wisconsin I almost feel like I should own them.
